About me
I began my career working in charities and housing associations, supporting people affected by substance misuse. I went on to work for 20 years in the public sector, where I developed a strong understanding of the pressures of working life and the impact this can have on wellbeing.
I have been engaged for many years in therapy and personal development. I have worked through my fair share of painful experiences and challenges of being human, and bring the insight, compassion and humility I have gained in the process to my work as a counsellor.

LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling
As a queer therapist, I bring personal insight and professional experience to working with issues of sexuality and gender identity.
I work with clients who are lesbian, gay, bi, pan, queer, asexual, questioning, trans, non-binary, genderqueer and cis. Clients may want to explore sexuality or gender identity, navigate difficulties with family or relationships, develop greater self-acceptance, or process experiences of homophobia, transphobia or other forms of oppression.
My aim is to provide an affirming and thoughtful space where all aspects of your identity can be explored at your own pace.
I was a volunteer counsellor for three years at the East London Out Project (ELOP), a charity which provides low-cost counselling to LGBTQ+ people.
Qualifications
I hold a Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Counselling from Re-Vision. I’m currently studying at the Minster Centre towards an MA in Advanced Clinical Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’m a Registered Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and a full clinical member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) abiding by the code of ethics of these organisations.
